Today, CoreWeave announced the bring-up of multi-rack NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 on CoreWeave Cloud, unifying racks of hundreds of Rubin GPUs into one scale-out cluster over NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet. The company calls itself “the first AI cloud provider to validate and bring up a Vera Rubin NVL72.” We think the claim that will matter to buyers is not the first-bring-up badge; it is how far the fabric and the data layer stretch before a rack stops behaving like part of one machine.
